"Hey Dog! What's up! I hear you are doing an American Idol State production! You know, I do a lot of producing, too, and I can give you some helpful advice.

Timing is so important! You have to make sure you meet your deadlines. The easiest way to do this is to break down your production into sections and work on one at a time.

To start, design your backdrop (PowerPoint Template) and create enough slides for your entire production.

The start of your production is so important! You have to grab the attention of the viewers so they will watch the entire thing, know what I mean dude? Do the opening slide after you create the templates.

The rest is easy. Just do each section one at a time. Remember animation and music will give your production "bling bling!" Add a little humor and be creative!

Slide 1: Opening Slide, contains the title of your production, your name, graphics, music and animation.
Slide 2: Location, contains a map, information about famous or beautiful places

Slide 4: Factoids, sell it as the American Idol State!
Slide 5: Factoids continued, be creative, prove New Jersey is great!
Slide 6: Ending slide, can contain symbols of the state
